SUMMARY:TREK 100 Bike Ride (Volunteer Event)
DESCRIPTION:This 100 mile bike ride benefits the MACC fund which supports r
 esearch for cures and treatments for childhood cancer.   The event is spon
 sored by TREK bikes of Waterloo Wisconsin.   Amateur radio operators from 
 around the region provide communications support for the event and Support
  And Gear vehicles to provide assistance and transport to riders.  Much of
  the ride takes place in rural Wisconsin where there is no cell phone cove
 rage so our radio operators are critical to operations and safety.   Volun
 teer to be one of those people.
