If you are looking for an amateur radio club that is active, has fun, and doesn’t take itself too seriously join the Suburban UHF Repeater Society.    While we welcome everyone to our “Nets” and club events, your membership in the club makes us stronger and helps to support the club’s activities 

Joining SUHFARS is easy!

1. Find the SUHFARS web site (you already did that!)
2. Click HERE to fill out the membership application
3. If you know a current SUHFARS member list them as your “Sponsor”.  If you don’t know a current member put “Board” as your sponsor name and callsign.
4. Complete and submit the application.
5. Pay your dues (see below)
6. Be active, join our nets, participate in events, and make new friends.
7. You will be a “Provisional member” of SUHFARS until the next member meeting where the current members of the club will welcome you as a “Full member”.   As a “Provisional member” you have all the rights of a full member except for voting privileges.

The SUHFARS membership period is from July1 – June 30.  Dues are $30/year.   If you join between January and July then your dues cover the first partial year until July and the next full year.   If you join between July 1 and December 31 then your dues cover your membership through the next July 1.  

You can pay your dues via the PayPal or Zelle.  In both cases, send the money to treasurer@suhfars.org.  For PayPal mark the payment as “friends and family” so we are not charged a transaction fee.
