About the Event
Roughly once a quarter we gather HAMs from the Chicago area (and sometimes from Wisconsin and as far as Tennessee) to meet, greet, and eat meat. We “break biscuits” at the Golden Corral in Algonquin on south Randall Road. This is a “non denominational” gathering so we invite hams from all clubs and persuasions (repeater rats, simplex servers, and the lords of the HF frequencies) to come together in a morning of camaraderie and friendship . The doors open at 8am and if you hang around long enough you can have lunch as well. Oh…and there is vegan faire as well.
